And because of the flaws in a hold-center HB fight where the other 3 shrines don't add pips, they changed it.

Who exactly said you had to pit a 3v3 battle of heroes at the center shrine while the two human "runners" run around capping shrines. Although each map has a certain flow to it, you can split up your heroes, (let him take center for now, who cares?) and take the other 3 shrines. Managing the other three shrines with four is a lot easier than trying to cap them all with just yourself. Besides, three pips beats two pips any day, and it's not always running around. Once you have the mercenary shrine, you can probably find a way to cap the center, once you've harassed his runner enough. But most likely, if he sees you've split up your heroes, he will probably do the same, and then it won't have become a 3v3 Hero Battle with human players running around. In this case, just outsmart him and prioritize your shrines.

Anyways, I agree with Skye Marin here (and in a lot of his other posts too)
But I definitely would not try to revert to the old way where the center shrine is the only one worth morale pips. Even if you took out all the shrines, you'd just see the same 2 monk + 2 fire ele, (or other high dmg AI-exploiters).

So, you really think is better now? HB has more fun now? I still see the same holding thing people complained in the past, so I don't think they "fixed" anything. Heroes are still holding and the player is capturing the other 3 shrines, or viseversa, holding the most important shrine (ignoring center) with the 3 heroes, and the human capturing the other 2 shrines, just ignoring center. So, two ways of holding now, instead of one. Well, there are a third one but is not enough good IMO, it's putting one by one per shrines, and the player snare/blind/whatever. So, they fixed the holdingway, adding more copies of holdingway, and lot of run! (yes Run not Fun) and a veeeeery few fights "maybe" sometimes

HB as it is now has many different way's of winning and the most flexable player win's.

personalyl if i wanted to fight heads up id just go to RA/TA and do it like that and it would be boring as hell

Ok, i disagree with the total removal of shrines, but a compromise can be reached

I do prefer it how it use to be when you could hold center shrine, it made it easier on me (i didn't actually use a holding shrine build though, i can beat most holding builds) But if a holding build works, then it should be given a chance to work.

But a total removal of shrines shouldn't be implemented. I always would prefer a 6v6 hero battles, but i doubt that would happen (It would allow much more strategy in the build design and such, but i don't think Anet is about to do something like this)

i do think that a comprimise can be reach although i have to laugh at the title of this tread, trust me no change is ever going to happen in any area cause someone said change it NOW lol quite funny
